I work

The number of my employers is increasing all the time. That means that the number of hours that I work each day is increasing continuously. Unfortunately, the increased time spent is not reflected in increased taxable income. That’s just how it is and I don’t expect it to get any better. I even expect that that’s how it’ll continue and that my free-time, where I can really do what I feel like, will become an exception.

Kitesurfing

It was a wonderful day. In the morning it was windless and sunny. In the afternoon the wind increased and became stronger. The first kite surfers who had been waiting on the bank could now start. Within a very short time, many of them glided over the restless water. We watched them. The colorful kites, the big waves, the tricks they did with their kites, it was a great presentation.

Kitesurfen

EU: New e-commerce package for supply of goods as from 1 of January 2021 to ensure taxation in country of destination – “commissionaire structure”

VAT gap – missing VAT revenue within EU by companies who do not act in line with the local law, has been a challenge for many years. How would you manage to push foreign companies being resident on other continent without any physical presence in the country not caring about the law to register locally for VAT and pay whatever the government should get. This is quite difficult question and to find a pragmatical way which does not cost millions on control framework is not as easy.

The year 2019 was like the Prätschalp-cross-country skiing trail in Arosa

Difficult. Very difficult. It was one of the most demanding cross-country trails in my life.

The year 2019 reminds me of my cross-country skiing trip in Arosa on 31 December 2019. I have been to Arosa a few times and I have also been cross-country skiing there before. On New Year’s Noon I decided to go cross-country skiing. I could not motivate anyone else to do so. Never mind. The day was wonderful, the sun was shining as if it was a competition of brightness. The snow conditions were good.

Das Jahr 2019 war ähnlich wie die Prätschalp-Loipe in Arosa

Schwierig. Sehr schwierig.
