Get out of the fog, which can be so thick that it completely envelops you, swallows you and takes your breath away. The fog gets on my nerves. Every now and then when I get up in the morning and now, unfortunately, far too often in autumn, there is nothing to see out of the window. Only a thick white layer of fog. This white can be very persistent and just stays lazy in the valley where I live. Now and then it stays the whole day until late in the evening. If you can endure several such days in a row without becoming depressed, you have a very robust constitution. Actually I am such a person, but my energy storage is not infinite either. Sun, air and exercise usually help.

Raus aus dem Nebel, der so dick sein kann, dass er einem vollständig umhüllt, ganzheitlich verschluckt und einem die Luft zu atmen nimmt. Der Nebel macht mir zu schaffen. Ab und zu wenn ich am Morgen und jetzt im Herbst leider viel zu oft, aufstehe, gibt es aus dem Fenster nichts zu sehen. Nur eine dichte weisse Schicht Nebel. Dieses Weiss kann sehr hartnäckig sein und bleibt einfach in Tal, wo ich wohne, faul liegen. Ab und zu bleib es den ganzen Tag bis spät am Abend. Wer ohne depressiv zu werden mehrere solche Tage hintereinander ertragen kann, hat eine sehr robuste Verfassung. Eigentlich bin ich so eine Person, aber auch mein Energiespeicher ist nicht unendlich. Sonne, Luft und Bewegung helfen meistens.

When we were locked up at home in March this year along with our worries and fears, it was almost unbearable. I walked the same route up the mountain almost every day. And I did it in every weather. I had to get out, clear my head, see the city below me from a different perspective, keep my distance. The path I took was incredibly steep. I felt like a chamois, like a person who only knows sports from television. The first few times the steepest part of the way – almost 600 m – was not possible without having a break.

Als wir im März dieses Jahres zusammen mit unseren Sorgen und Ängsten zu Hause eingeschlossen wurden, war es fast nicht auszuhalten. Ich bin fast jeden Tag die gleiche Strecke den Berg hinaufgelaufen. Und das in jedem Wetter. Ich musste raus, den Kopf durchlüften, die Stadt unter mir aus einer anderen Perspektive sehen, Abstand nehmen. Der Weg, den ich nahm, war unglaublich steil. Ich bin mir wie eine Gämse vorgekommen, wie ein Mensch der Sport nur aus dem Fernseher kennt. Die ersten paar male war das steilste Stück des Weges – immerhin fast 600 m – nicht ohne eine Pause zu schaffen.

EU – changes in the EU law new reporting obligations for new EU register – SCIP (Substances of Concern In Products) as from 5 of January 2021

Companies supplying articles containing substances of high concern (SVHCs) on the Candidate List in a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w) on the EU market have will have to submit information on these articles to new EU register –  SCIP (Substances of Concern In Products) as from 5 January 2021.  Lead (which is widely used in electronics) is also among these substances. Thus, each article Lead (or the substance itself) must be submitted in this register. Please analyse the list of substances in order to understand if you face additional reporting obligation.
