When my youngest one (7) was born, the ZKB opened an account for him and gave him 20 Francs as a gift. Just like that. Without me having to do anything. I found that nice.

Children are very much concerned about this question, when they are between 5 and 8 years old. Recently I listened to three about six years old boys, as they talked about what happens after death. The taller one said that one comes to heaven and will meet all those again, who died before oneself. The other boy said that the dead will travel to another, far-away star, where they will then live, and the third one said that death is the end and that there is nothing after it. Die Kinder beschäftigen sich intensiv mit dieser Frage, wenn sie zwischen 5 und 8 Jahre alt sind. Kürzlich habe ich drei etwa 6 jährige Jungs gehört wie sie sich darüber unterhalten haben, was nach dem Tod passiert. Der grössere sagte, dass man in den Himmel kommt und dass alle die, die schon vorher starben, einem dort begegnen. Der zweite sagte, dass die Toten dann zu einem weit entfernten Stern reisen, auf dem sie dann wohnen und der Dritte meinte, dass der Tod ein Ende ist und es danach nichts mehr gibt. We were swimming. On a Sunday afternoon, when it is drizzling outside, the sky is grey and the temperatures are very low, every indoor swimming pool in the city is full. So was it also that day. My youngest one (7) and I first found us for a bit of space in the non-swimmer pool. But playing was not so easy because there were so many people playing with balls, splashing, hitting each other and a large number of small girls with shrill voices, which they used mercilessly in full decibel force.
