Exactly on the last day of my stay in Shanghai the “space capsule“ on the highest floor of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower reopened after 3 million renovation works. It’s true that the entry ticket is quite expensive. But what are 220 Yuan (around 35 US Dollars) compared to the panoramic view from the three observatory decks at 339 meters! That would have been true if there were no pollution. The view outside was disappointing because the poor air quality impaired the visibility. So I could not take a picture!!Read More »
Genau am letzten Tag meines Aufenthalts in Shanghai feierte die „Space Capsule“ im obersten Stockwerk des Oriental Pearl TV Tower seine Wiedereröffnung, nach Renovierungen für 3 Millionen. Es stimmt, dass der Eintritt ziemlich teuer ist. Aber was sind 220 Yuan (ca. 35 US Dollar) im Vergleich zu dem fantastischen Ausblick von einer der drei Aussichtsplattformen in 339m Höhe! My son has an incomprehensible panic-fuelled fear of dogs. Rationality does not help much there. We went to visits my mother’s sister for a few days, who has three lovely small dogs. The beginning was difficult but after two days the dogs and my son were best friends. His panic-fuelled fear towards unknown dogs had changed into friendly respect. I was very glad.
Mein Junge hatte eine für uns alle unverständliche panische Angst vor Hunden. Rationalität hilft da nicht weiter. Wir sind für ein paar Tage zu der Schwester meiner Mutter zu Besuch gefahren, die drei kleine niedliche Hunde besitzt. The resigning Italian Government did not approve the tax reform package.
