When advising our clients, the use of complex technology and ICT is becoming increasingly widespread. In order to keep pace with rapid developments, PwC seeks a (Senior) Functional SAP Consultant.
Do you want to help our VAT advisers in this complex world of technical developments? Then we can offer you a wide range of opportunities.
Who are you?
- You at least hold a degree from a university of applied sciences. Preference is given to an ‘exact’ discipline, such as (technical) computer science, mathematics, technical business, ICT or econometrics.
- You are a functional SAP consultant who likes to solve complex issues in SAP
- You have 5 to 8 years of proven experience in SAP;
- You have thorough knowledge of the configuration of the SAP modules FI, SD and/or MM;
- You are familiar with the financial, sales and purchasing business processes of a company;
- You are analytical, punctual and can work independently under pressure;
- Functional knowledge of Indirect TAX/VAT and knowledge of how Indirect Tax/VAT is calculated and processed by SAP is preferred, but this is definitely not a must.
What does the job entail?
In cooperation with the team of SAP experts and Indirect TAX/VAT advisers, you implement SAP solutions for the client and develop new SAP functionality for complex VAT issues.
Initially, you will work from the PwC office in Amsterdam; subsequently, client support will also form a regular part of your work. You will be familiar with different facets of Indirect TAX/VAT and related topics within PwC. You will continue to develop your skills in both the professional as well as personal fields, and will regularly discuss matters with your personal coach.
What do we offer?
Your career is what it is: yours. It is you who sets the course. It is us who offers you the opportunities. At PwC, you can count on having a varied role in an international dynamic environment. We are one of the world’s largest financial services providers, offering you enough space to grow, to get the most out of yourself, to help build public confidence and contribute towards solving important issues. You will be intensively supervised, but left enough space to activate your ambition and exercise your personal choices. We will guide you with internal and external training and a personal coach, with whom you will discuss your wishes and ambitions. We offer varied work with leading clients. Additionally, we can offer you extended working conditions: a market-based salary, 30 holiday days, laptop and smartphone, a partial premium-free pension and a lease car is one of the options available when required for reasons of mobility.
