Many countries around the world implemented legislation demanding more transparency in the tax area or to have a Tax Control Framework in place. The tax function of the future will look surprisingly different from today’s. Fresh, innovative approaches utilising technology are crucial. In our round table, we will cover the various roles of tax control frameworks and best in class practices from leading multinationals, showing how they optimised their tax function and their report to stakeholders.Furthermore, we want to share with you how to ensure control and mitigate the company’s tax risks.

To make this really international, we invited professionals from other PwC firms of our network with extensive experience in the area.

Tax Control Framework: Achieving the desired state of control whilst identifying opportunities

The number of countries around the world who recently implemented legislation asking international groups to have a Tax Control Framework in place is heavily increasing. We will discuss with you the various local roles for tax control frameworks and how to best react on them as an international group. In addition we will present you the technology and methodology which can help you setting up such a framework and which is accepted by OECD.

This discussion will be facilitated by Ulrich Haiss (Tax Partner, PwC Germany)

 

Tax Risk Management: Navigate risk and regulatory complexity

Audit Committee, Boards, CFO, Tax Authorities and other stakeholders are turning to the Tax Functions to understand how they ensure control of the company’s tax risk. Data extraction: Unlock data possibilities – Make better and faster decisions

Compliance in today’s world is more than ever data driven: understanding, structuring and extracting your data is key, whether it is in the optimisation of your compliance processes (evolving to zero-cost data recorded at source), be it in-house or via an outsourcing provider, in the generation of e-audit or saf-t files or in providing data sets during a tax audit.
