The Swiss PwC Indirect tax team is looking for consultant for its Basel office with a solid understanding of EU VAT matters.

The ideal candidate should:

  • have 2-3 years of experience in the field of EU VAT (intra-community supplies as well as importation/export supplies and their documentation/reporting requirements, simplification measures and their criteria, invoicing requirements, VAT treatment of various types of services in a B2B/B2C relation, etc.)
  • be fluent in English and it is recommended having a good command in German (both written and spoken), good spoken command of other EU language(s) is a plus,
  • be enthusiastic about moving to Switzerland for a period of 1-2 years,

During the spring break we were with my youngest one (7) in Ascona. We had planned a trip by train from Locarno to Verdasio, with a ropeway to Rasa (898m) and a walking-tour to Intragna.

But by mistake we had taken the wrong ropeway and thus ended up on the opposite mountain Monti di Comino. But this did not derogate our joy. Thus we could watch Rasa being located on the opposite mountain from various angles and heights.Read More »

In den Frühlingsferien waren wir mit meinem Jüngsten (7) in Ascona. Eingeplant war eine Fahrt mit dem Zug von Locarno nach Verdasio, mit dem Bähnli nach Rasa (898m) und eine Wanderung nach Intragna.

Aber wir hatten per Irrtum die falsche Bahn genommen und landeten am gegen über liegendem Berg Monte di Comino. Unsere Freude tat es kein Abbruch.Read More »
