Jogging in the city

I am travelling a lot. Today in Geneva, tomorrow in London, on Wednesday in Zug. That may sound great but is very tiring. When one is travelling and working, one sees Big Ben, the Parliament and the Castle from the outside, when passing by, but one never has time to sit in a café, to process all the impression, to visit sights. Joggen in der Stadt

Ich bin viel unterwegs. Heute in Genf, morgen in London, am Mittwoch in Zug. Das mag toll klingen, ist aber sehr ermüdend. Wenn man reist und arbeitet, sieht man Big Ben, Parlament, die Burg von aussen, beim Vorbeifahren, aber man hat nie Zeit in einem Café zu sitzen, Eindrücke zu verarbeiten, die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen. The story of the “old lady” in Sudetenland

As I child I spent part of my long summer holidays in a small village. For me it was a paradise. Many dilapidated houses, endless forests, cherry trees with sweet cherries, which did not belong to anyone and a crowd of children of the same age.

Die Geschichte der “alten Dame“ im Sudetenland

Als Kind habe ich immer einen Teil der grossen Sommerferien in einem kleinen Kaff verbracht. Aber für mich war es ein Paradies. Viele zerfallene Häuser, unendliche Wälder, Kirschbäume mit süssen Kirschen, die niemandem gehörten, und eine Schar gleichaltriger Kinder.

Vor dem 2. Weltkrieg bestand das Dorf aus 36 Häusern, einem Schulhaus und einem Gasthaus. Als ich das Dorf kennenlernte, waren nur 3 der Häuser während des ganzen Jahres bewohnt.
