The Commission of the VAT Expert Group has now launched the public consultation on “Improving the Situation of EU Citizens as Taxpayers for Direct and Indirect Tax”, available in 23 languages:

The public consultation will be running for 12 weeks until 2 June 2021.
It is designed to collect information on direct tax (mainly Personal Income Tax) and certain indirect tax (VAT) related problems that taxpayers might face and to identify best practices to remedy these problems.
You are hereby invited to take part to the public consultation and to fill in the survey. The results will feed into the Recommendation which is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2021.
