I have the feeling to just consist of passwords. In the past I had one for my credit card. In the mean time, there is hardly any area in my life without a password.

I have passwords for the bank, insurances, airlines and I have countless passwords for the Internet (where I purchase goods online or source services and information online).

I counted them and currently I have 53 passwords, which I have to change after a certain period. That’s madness!! Nobody can remember so many passwords.

My PC requires several passwords depending on the programme. And not only that I have several passwords, I even need to change them: there are the ones, which I need to change after 3 months, others after half a year and others once a year.

Unfortunately, the strategy to have one password for all, does not work… For example if I would like to re-use an old password in a PC programme, the PC objects – “already used, cannot be used again”. Thus the strategy to use one single password has died.

I would be grateful for hints on you are doing it!!

If one cannot remember something, one writes it down. In my case, all passwords are saved on a little electronic gadget – obviously secured with a password. If I were to lose this gadget or forget the access password to my password, I would be stuck! For a while I could not do anything. I could not work, not withdraw money, or pay my invoices.

After the holidays it is the worst; then I usually have troubles recalling the 10 – 15 passwords from my memory, which I usually remember.

The top of meanness happened yesterday to me. I wanted to register for an Internet portal and had to generate a password in order to do so. I entered an 8-letter password. Immediately I received the reply: “The password is too simple, please enter another one.” I entered a combination of numbers and letters and waited. I received the same reply. I tried it for a third time and still received the same reply. Conclusion: I did not become a member!

Oh my god, I’m too stupid to think of a secure password! Can’t we change immediately to eye scan or finger print!?!
